The apartment was exactly as described. We were met by one of
Alexandre's colleagues, Freddyy, who provided flowers, wine, and the
best croissant. He explained everything about the apartment. The size
was perfect for two people, located in one of the best neighborhoods
in paris, conveninet to markets, restaurants museums, and everything
one wants to do in Paris. We definitely would stay here again.

Our flights to Paris were delayed by over six hours, arriving at the
apartment after midnight. Despite this massive delay, our host was
there to greet us and run us though the apartment and its amenities,
taking into account we had been traveling for over 40 hours already!
Fanny was an exceptional host; kind, generous and immediately
responsive throughout our stay. The apartment is compact, secure, warm
and exactly as described. The neighborhood is close to the city
centre, with a main Metro stop within a few minutes walk. We loved St
Germain and spent hours walking at all hours and felt thoroughly safe
at all times. I would very highly recommend this apartment and the
host who was so kind and helpful to us while we were in Paris.

My wife and I had a nice stay in this apartment. It's located in a nice area of Paris, convenient to the Metro and dining. The room is nicely furnished, with modern upgrades in the kitchen and bath, while still having a classic charm which is the draw of a city like Paris.

This apartment is extremely charming! The space is clean and very spacious by Parisian standards. Daria, one of the hosts, was helpful, responsive, and very professional. We had warm croissants and a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival. The location is amazing and it didn't take us more than 20 min to get anywhere in the city by Uber, most things were about 10 min away. The neighborhood is amazing and full of great coffee and food. My husband and I are very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Dates: July 2015. Two of us loved this apartment. The communication before we arrived was great, and we knew how to locate the apartment, etc.  The studio is roomy enough for two.  We are in Paris during the summer heat wave and a fan was brought in to help us keep cool.  The fan was perfect.  The sitting area was wonderful for evening relaxation.  The kitchen area included items such as a microwave, stovetop, small refrigerator, coffee maker, tea kettle (thank you!), and a combination washer/dryer.  We did not use the microwave, but did use the stovetop for the tea kettle,  the refrigerator, and the small washer/dryer.  The bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of outlets for our electronics (phones, tablets).  There was a laptop available to us, but we never needed it as the wifi worked great with our tablets and phones.  The location of the apartment is wonderful.  Great croissants, cheese, wine, fruit,  macaroons, etc., within walking distance.  We would definitely stay here again.

Dates: May 18-25, 2013. The Apt. was in a great location, we loved our visit to Paris although the weather didn't cooperate with us, but we still had a great time.
We met Karina, who welcome us with a bottle of wine and Croissant and showed us how to use the appliances in the apt.
We  originally had a problem with the telephone, the line being statics but the next day is was fine. I should also mention that  there's a bank next to the apt., ATM was so convenient to use. We could walk to alot of places and this location was excellent.

Dates: April 12-19, 2013. If you want to enjoy Paris while staying in a budget friendly luxury apartment, then this is the place to rent!  We were delightfully surprised to find ourselves in a vibrant neighborhood a few blocks from Musee d'Orsee, and within walking distance to all the wonderful places we like to visit.  We were concerned that a studio would be too small but we found the room had everything we could ask for, including a fully furnished kitchenette.  Finding places to buy food was easy and there were many great cafes steps away from our apartment.    We would stay here again without hesitation! Wonderful!  Which is why we continue to rent apartments from you (next one - London in January!) and to refer you to all our friends and family. Incredible!  We compared the cost of staying in a smaller space at Henri V.  Easiest decision we made to book this apartment instead of Henri V. Well it is small but again the studio had everything we needed, just in miniature.

Dates: November 26-December 03, 2012.  Apartment is very warm, bed is cozy and bathroom clean-clean. Studio is small, but very well functional and simply beautiful! Located in a very nice and typical Parisian district with many local cafes, restaurants, shops, markets – all in a short distance. We were cooking French and eating eat at home with my husband and our small baby – and have cool memories about it!  We of course were buying warm Croissants every morning and fresh cheeses just down stairs. We had professional welcome on arrival from Pierre, speed service and quick help when asked from PVA team when asked. Thank very much and see you soon. Recommended!

Dates : June 30 – July 7, 2012. Although a studio, the apartment was cozy, well equipped, with a large closet and ample storage space. It was located in a terrific part of town close to le musee d’orsay, excellent restaurants and shopping in Saint-Germain-des Pres. We appreciated the notebook computer, wi-fi and free landline telephone service to the United States. This was our third time staying in a Paris Vacation Apartments location and we highly recommend them. In fact, we plan to return to Paris next March and hope to stay with Paris Vacation Apartments again.

Dates : June 13-18, 2012. Paris Vacation Apartments (PVA) was recommended by friends who had previously used them. We found their service to truly be exceptional. While planning our trip to Paris, PVA including Alex and Karina, were extremely friendly and highly responsive to all questions we had. Once we had selected the studio, they remained in touch and provided extensive email information on not only the apartment, but about the area in which it was located including restaurants, shopping, transportation, maps, emergency services, etc. Upon arrival we were greeted at the apartment where we were briefed and had questions answered. PVA was available to offer assistance if needed throughout our stay. We can’t say enough about their service. The studio itself is located in an upscale area close to transportation as well as excellent restaurants and shopping. It is located just behind what must be one of the best cheese stores in Paris. We did not use the studio for any extensive meals other than cheese and wine but it does offer the ability to prepare meals with a fairly well stocked but small kitchen, We were pleased with the independence and value that an apartment offered and would definitely use PVA on future stays in Paris. We highly recommend PVA.

Dates : May 26 - June 2, 2012. My wife and I stayed at the St Germain studio for the first half of our 2 week honeymoon in France. We wanted a low-key place where wecould make ourselves at home (as opposed to a hotel) and this was the perfect solution. True to the description, the apartment was located in a great area with access to wonderful restaurants and shops. Every morning, I would pop down to the local bakery to get bread for the day and in the evenings, pick up some snacks and food (for the nights we cooked dinner). We truly felt like local Parisians and can't wait to return again. The apartment itself was very comfortable and had pretty much all of the amenities one would want for an extended stay (washer/dryer, small kitchen, internet, and TV). It might feel a tad small for American standards, but the space is maximized and when you're out and about for most of the day, you don't care much. The St Germain area is very upscale and we never felt threatened or uncomfortable. We didn't have much need for help from the PVA team during our stay, but it was very clear that they would have been very responsive to our requests and would have helped as much as possible.

Dates : May 2012. We very much enjoyed our stay in this studio apartment. Much better value than a hotel room and a much more special experience. It truly felt like our "home" in Paris for the 9 nights we were there. Great location, close to 2 metro stations that will get you anywhere in the city. Also walking distance to many restaurants, amazing shopping, and some sites on the left bank. We also enjoyed taking the bus- there were several different stops serving different lines around the apartment. The apartment itself was very comfortable and it was great having a fridge, microwave, and washer/dryer. The dryer component of the combined machine didn't work well but it wasn't too much of a problem because we hung our clothes inside the window during the nights which worked well. All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly and eager to help. Frederick greeted us upon arrival and really made us feel comfortable and made himself available to us if we were to run into any problems or have any questions. The complimentary wine and croissants was a very nice touch. I will definitely use the service again and would love to stay again in this apartment on my next visit to Paris.

Dates : April 10 – 18, 2011. A wonderful alternative to hotel accommodation! Great location – close to transport, cafes, restaurants, within walking distances from central Paris and also very quiet. We were delighted with the apartment – the surrounding shops are great – wonderful cheese shop on the ground floor of the building, a patisserie with the best macaroons, great wine shop with well priced wine, butcher with pre-cooked meals. The apartment is set up with everything you need including lots of maps and ideas on where to eat and things to see and a very comfortable bed. Would highly recommend the apartment for a great value stay. The process of booking and the communication during the leadup and the actual stay was excellent and informative and greatly appreciated.

Dates: May 2011. This apartment exceeded all our expectations. It is beautifully renovated - whilst it is not huge it is still quite spacious for a studio and has a very comfortable and large bed, lovely linen, clean and modern bathroom and a great compact kitchen with everthing you need.  It is in a really central position in a lovely area of Paris - we could walk to most places of interest - but it is also close to a metro station. A great cheese shop below along with a florist and shops nearby for any needs. It had reliable internet access also. It was quiet at night and we totally loved it. Upon arrival we were met and had everything explained to us [ as well as a very lovely bunch of flowers, some croissants and a bottle of red wine]. The little thoughtful extras like fluffy bathrobes and towells,  books on Paris etc. really made it special. We will definately stay there next time and would highly reccomend it to others.Service: 9

Dates : September 30 - October 08, 2010. I found the Paris Vacation Apartments site while browsing the internet doing research for my trip.  At first I was a little hesitant to do a transaction over the internet but after doing research on the company (they had great ratings on Trip Advisor) I decided to go ahead and rent the apartment.  The transaction was smooth, everyone I dealt with was very nice and helpful.  When we arrived there was someone there waiting for us at the apartment to show us around.  Also they pretty much provide you with everything you need, right down to a binder full of information of the city and neighborhood.  This was definitely the way to go, we will be renting from them in the future and will recommend it to anyone that will be traveling to Paris. I did a blog entry about the apartment on my blog including pictures, please visit it at http://lisamarie512.livejournal.com/80771.html

Dates: June 6-11.2010. We just came back from our Paris trip, which included 9 nights in the rue de Grenelle studio.  I would highly recommend this apartment to a couple or single traveler.  It is in a wonderful location on the Left Bank, close to 2 metro stops and walking distance to many sights.  Even though it is a busy area, as soon as you go through the exterior doors into the courtyard, it becomes a quiet oasis.  We slept with the window open, and never heard a sound. The apartment itself is exactly as pictured – what I think of as very “Parisian”.  Several reviews have mentioned that the apartment is “small” – I actually felt it was a good size for a studio (that being the key point – it is a studio).  I compared it to hotel rooms we have booked previously in Paris – and in all cases, it was larger than the hotel rooms.  The walk-in shower was super – I wish I had this in my home!  I do agree with other comments that the toilet is a bit close to the wall (so taller people might bump their knees – I’m 5’1”, so it wasn’t an issue, but my 6’1” husband said it was a little annoying).  The bathroom, along with the rest of the apartment, was absolutely spotless.  All the necessities were supplied ~ hair dryer, towels, bedding, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc.  I loved having a washer/dryer – it is a combination unit, but it was easy to use.  In a combo unit, the drying feature doesn’t always get things totally dry, but there is a clothes rack stored in the closet for just that purpose.
The staff at PVA was wonderful to deal with – courteous, prompt, and above all, patient.  We made several changes to our plans, and they were extremely accommodative.  Clara, our contact person, was always available, and promptly handled our requests (mainly related to needing taxis).  She met us at the apartment with a bottle of wine, a large bottle of water, croissants and flowers.  I would highly recommend Paris Vacation Apartments; in fact we are already looking to rent for 2011, and might stay in this studio again (my husband is voting for this one, so I guess the knee bumping in the bathroom truly is a minor inconvenience!).

The service was personal, complete and exceptional.  The guide book in the apartment was useful.  Fred, who met us at the apartment,  made sure we knew how to work everything, told us where the local services were, and generally made us feel that we were special guests. He ordered a taxi to take us to the airport, arranged a babysitter for a friend, helped us negotiate a train strike and couldn’t have been more helpful. It was very useful to have the computer and internet connection in the apartment. We loved the apartment and its location and can’t wait to return.

Dates: January 07-14 2010. We had a truly wonderful stay at the Grenelle studio from January 7 to 14, 2010.  Paris was very cold at that time and the built in heater was not adequate.  Fred solved that problem by dropping off a portable heater the next day.
Our holiday started off on a sour note, in that our only suitcase was lost by KLM, and my wife had her passport stolen the first day.   Fred, once again came to our rescue.  He dealt with KLM and gave them precise directions to the flat, as well as, co-ordinating the timing of the delivery of our suitcase.  He also directed us to the nearest police station so that we could obtain the necessary report for the stolen passport.  His assistance far exceeded our expectations and was sincerely appreciated.  Calling Fred was like having a friendly uncle in Paris to help with our problems. The computer provided in the flat was  a huge convenience. Fred took the time to explain how the French washer/dryer worked, and we used it many times.
We have rented flats in other cities, and always ended up buying detergent and toilet paper etc. on our first day.  This flat was fully stocked for our entire stay.
To be honest, at the time of booking, I felt that this flat--location, amenities, and price were too good to be true.  However, everything on your website was true.
We will rent a flat again from you next year, and have already recommended your services to all of your friends.

Dates: December 27, 2009 - January 3, 2010. I was referred to Alex's company by a friend who had rented from him previously.  I was a little nervous, I was traveling with a friend who was kind enough to trust my decision without checking it out first.  Our initial impression was so positive, we were given perfect instructions, finding the apartment was a cinch,( considering our lack of French), and the nicest surprise was being greeted with fresh flowers, chocolate, wine...how charming.  Our apartment was adorable, exactly as described.  I especially appreciated the computer you provided and the amount of towels.   We were traveling in Paris with friends who chose not to rent an apartment, they stayed in a hotel on the Left Bank, but preferred our apartment.  It felt more, well, French.

Dates: 28-Nov to 05-Dec, 2009. We had a great time in your apartment for our week in Paris. We really enjoyed pretending to be Parisians; living in an amazing part of the city; where the best food and drink, shopping and dining were all right outside our door. We ate almost every meal within walking distance of the apartment, ate cheese almost every afternoon from the shop directly below the apartment, and generally felt like we were living the grand life in the 7th arrondisment. The apartment was amazingly clean and extremely well laid out. It is small, no doubt, but had everything we needed, including enough room to put away our clothes, a place to sit and enjoy our cheese and macarons, watch TV, and even wash and dry some clothing. There were plenty of supplies, meaning towels, blankets, pillows and what not. Coffee was even supplied!

Dates: October 09-16, 2009. The apartment is very well-sized for 1 person or a couple.  It has a washer/dryer which is very useful if, like me, you are on a multi-week trip and will need to get things cleaned.   The computer worked fine although you have to get used to using a non-English keyboard.  There were no problems with any of the appliances or fixtures.   The apartment is on the 2nd level so you do need to go up a flight of  stairs to reach it.  The location was quiet and seemed very safe.  My only (minor) complaint was that the location of the towel warmer was too close to the toilet and it was very easy to bump it.
The apartment is about a block from a Metro stop and is walkable to 2 other stops plus the D’Orsay museum. There is a Pain Quotidien restaurant about 2 blocks away, which is very useful as they are open and serve straight through the day.  There is also a grocery store a block away which has basic supplies.
My arrival went very smoothly as the staff member who met me arrived at exactly the same time as I did.  She was very helpful and went to a lot of trouble to explain how things worked. There was also a very useful “manual” with instructions on how to use the appliances, computer, etc as well as recommendations for stores and restaurants in the area.  I also appreciated the assistance in arranging a taxi at my departure as I left very early and it would have been difficult to arrange it myself.

Dates: 23/3/2009 to 10/4/2009 I have just stayed at the Rue De Grenelle studio for 18 nights. I found the apartment on the net and have only travelled to Europe once before. Right from my first contact with Alex I was impresssed with the way this company handles its customers. My queries were answered quickly. I'm a fifty plus single female travelling alone. Marie-Laure met me at the studio and explained everything. It was immaculate, complete with the computer, Skype service, gorgeous roses, pain au chocolat, red wine, Evian and ground coffee. Any queries I had were dealt with quickly and I found everyone delightful to deal with. The studio was perfect and ideally located. Very quiet and private. Travelling alone I felt very safe. Walking distance to everything - the Eiffel Tour, Louvre, Orsay, Ile de la Cite, Luxembourg gardens, the Metro and major Bus lines. Marie-Laure came to see me collected by the transfer company. I had always dreamt of "living in Paris" and this was an experience of a lifetime. No more Hotels! Thank you to everyone involved. I recommend PVA to anyone contemplating a stay in Paris. I'm happy to answer any questions. Robyn. Melbourne, Australia.

Dates: June1 - June 10, 2008 Paris Vacation Rentals was recommended to us by friends and we were extremely pleased with the whole experience. Clementine met us at the apartment upon our arrival and left us her cell phone number in case we had any problems. We had a long trip and a lost bag, so we were delighted with the lovely bottle of wine, basket of croissants and beautiful roses which awaited us. The apartment, though small, had everything we needed. A comfortable bed, a small but very functional kitchen and dining area, washer/dryer, internet access, a lovely bathroom, phone, TV and a book of recommendations for the neighborhood. The St-Germain area on the wonderful Left Bank was so centrally located that we were able to walk to many attractions - Notre Dame, the Musee D'Orsay, the Louvre, Bon Marche. We actually could find all that we needed right on our block - a cheese shop, a wonderful bakery, wine shop, produce market and grocery store. Having the kitchen made it possible to have a quick meal at home, which we did for most breakfasts. We would highly recommend Paris Vacation Apartments to anyone heading to Paris. Dates: February 6-13 2008 I have to be honest, when I first found this website I thought that it might be too good to be true! The rates were fabulous, and the thought of having a private apartment with a washer/dryer and kitchen made hotels seem second rate. When I first rented the Rue de Grenelle studio, there were no pictures online as the apartment was undergoing renovations. However, we booked it anyway and we couldn't have been more pleased! The apartment was small but cozy and had everything you need to have an unbelievable time in Paris! Free wireless internet on a laptop in the apartment (although the placement of the keys on the french keyboard takes some time to get used to!), cable TV including 2 english stations (MTV & CNN), comfortable bed, dining area, kitchen, and washer/dryer in one unit. The apartment is decorated very nicely and is clean and new inside. Chris met us at the apartment when we arrived and was super helpful, even though our taxi let us off miles away and it took us over an hour to walk to the apartment with our luggage (so we were tired & cranky!). A couple of pieces of advice about the apartment... First, we were in Paris in February and the apartment has tile floors. Very, very cold tile floors! I recommend brining slippers because no matter how much you turn the heater up, the floors never get warm! Second, if you are travelling by Taxi, I recommend having them drop you at the Rue du Bac Metro station, as it is just around the corner and none of the taxis could find the street Rue de Grenelle (the street splits in a couple of different areas). Alex was superb! We had issues with the apartment next door as they were doing some major remodeling (early in the morning) but Alex talked to the workers and made our stay worthwhile. He met us on our last morning just to make sure everything was OK before we left. Just amazing. I would highly recommend renting from Paris Vacation Apartments. In fact, we will definitely rent from them again our next time in Paris!

Dates: 9-16 April 2008 We could not have been more pleased with the St. Germain studio. It is perfectly set up for a couple, very pretty and quiet (it's at the back of a courtyard and so gets no street noise at all), equipped with everything you'd want -- we especially appreciated the new combo washer-dryer and the internet-enabled laptop -- and in an absolutely fantastic, beautiful and centrally located neighborhood in the 7th. Everyone we dealt with at PVA was kind, professional and helpful. The value for money is exceptional; even the best budget hotel couldn't come close. We will be back!

Dates: April 22-30, 2008 This apartment was perfect in every way, what a gem. The photos look good but they don’t capture all the tasteful details that make this apartment so special. This is a beautiful place, tastefully decorated, fabulous location, spacious shower, fluffy bathrobes, computer with free internet access, quality touches everywhere. The reservation process could not have been easier and the people at Paris Vacation Apartments are a pleasure to work with. Reserve early this apartment will book fast.

Dates: March 11, 2008-March 19, 2008 I loved staying in this little apartment! I arrived much later than expected because not all of my luggage made the connecting flight from Zurich, but I was able to reach Alex, who in turn let Clementine know of my delay, and she waited at the apartment to greet me when I finally did arrive. The phone was not working, and the extra bed for my friend who was arriving the next day was not there, but the next day the phone was fixed and the bed arrived. The apartment was small for two people not sharing a bed, but we got by fine. The apartment was very clean, with everything one would need: soft, fluffy towels and robes, kitchen utensils, coffee, tea, and even a bottle of wine and a loaf of bread. I loved the shower, the big rain showerhead and the heated towel rack in the bathroom. The neighborhood is very nice; one might even say upscale, with lots of little shops where you can buy just about anything. There is a gas station mini-mart across the street, which is open late. The cheese shop in front is..redolent, to say the least, but it was all part of the charm of our little apartment. We really did begin to think of it as "home". Through all the months of emails after reserving the apartment, I got to feel that Alex, Isis and staff were friends. The transactions were effortless and they honored the original price of the apartment at the time of reservation even though their online rates had increased by 25%. I would not hesitate to recommend PVA to anyone seeking good value for the money, and a worry-free experience. I can't wait to go back!

Dates: feb 19-27, 2008 I'm not one to give 10"s easily, but this was an outstanding company to deal with. Everything was as they said, no surprises, quick answers to emails and quick solutions to a few problems that arose during my stay. I hope to always use this company in the future. The apartment was small and compact with everything one could possibly want. I was very comfortable here for nine nights and could easily stay here for a month. The apartment is well decorated, very clean, and extremely quiet. I cooked about half of my meals and the kitchen was well equipped. THe washer and dryer worked wonderfully for what little laundry I did. The bathroom towels as well as the robe were nice and soft and fluffy. There were basics in the kitchen to start with as well as tp and soap in the bathroom, making it an easy way to start a vacation. I would recommend this apartment as well as this company for anyone looking into renting in Paris, they were so easy and professional to deal with.

Dates: January 2007 We stayed in the self contained studio after a week and half of driving around the French country side. We found it easily from the Metro (and were met at the door as promised and shown through the apartment & its amenties) and it was great little oasis to come home too after a long day of trekking through the capital. It was close to the main attractions and was really walking distance to most of the Parisan sites. There were wonderful cafe's within blocks and the cheese shop underneath was always full of patrons and good smells. The little vegetable shop and bakery down Rue de Grenelle also helped us with our last minute dinners at home (when we had them). We have since recommended the apartment to a close friend who found it was booked during her stay later this year to her great disappointment. We would happily go back and stay there in the future. Thanks for making our time in the captial so easy to navigate.

Dates: 19 /11/2007 - 3/10/2007 We stayed at this elegant studio apartment from 19th September to 3 rd October 2007 and will definitely return. It is compact, but thoughtfully designed and well equipped, and is ideally suited for a couple who are seeking a comfortable base camp in a perfect location in the heart of st Germain. Off a quiet courtyard, it is a real oasis in the middle of the hurly-burly, with excellent shops for top quality provisions within easy walking distance. We particularly appreciatd the free internet and global telephone access, the abundance of excellent restaurants, the easy link to attractive tours and the multi-channel TV.
